Using a Standard Model MAC 20-2 air conditioner, this Instrument Landing System Van provides continuous flight information to aircraft making “hands-off” ILS approaches and landings. The air conditioner for this electronics laden van was designed for maximum reliability under all weather conditions.
The unit is mounted in the standard “rear mount” position and operated with access doors open (arrangement #1). The air conditioner is operational twenty-four hours a day despite exposure to all extremes of weather.
